libudev support was added in 0.7.y and ever since, whenever udev is unavailable or something is wrong with it, pools take 30 seconds to import, which is extremely annoying to system administrators. There is no obvious sign of the problem, making it even more annoying. Let's report this condition to system administrators going forward. OpenZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the OpenZFS community. This repository contains the code for running OpenZFS on Linux and FreeBSD.

Supported Kernels
- The
METAfile contains the officially recognized supported Linux kernel versions. - Supported FreeBSD versions are any supported branches and releases starting from 12.4-RELEASE.
