It is possible that the given DS may have hidden child (%recv) datasets - "leftovers" resulting from the previously interrupted 'zfs receieve'. Try to remove the hidden child (%recv) and after that try to remove the target dataset. If the hidden child (%recv) does not exist the original error (EEXIST) will be returned. Native ZFS for Linux!
ZFS is an advanced file system and volume manager which was originally developed for Solaris and is now maintained by the Illumos community.
ZFS on Linux, which is also known as ZoL, is currently feature complete. It includes fully functional and stable SPA, DMU, ZVOL, and ZPL layers.
